SITE+PROGRAM

I've been thinking about placing my project (or growing my project out of) the space where the Javits Center now resides. I think it might be time for a redefinition of what a convention center could be and how it could be developed. I also find the north end of the High Line really interesting as a potential redefinition of the public plaza and possibly the public park, even beyond the changes it has already brought about. Perhaps there's an intertwining of convention center activities and public space? I'm not sure where all this is going to go, but that's where i think i'm heading...
