updated Material
This is additional material that I've worked on, including an updated ramp/circulation pattern, using script work...I enjoy the combination of these as a paired infrastructure and envistion the mesh work to be the main occupiable circulation...where the interior is more experimental circulation and allows for various possibilities for observation, such as the Richard Serra works...still developing this...

ReplyDeleteI think this version of the circulation is much better, though I am not totally sure how you imagine it working yet. I hope to be convinced because there are very interesting qualities to the types of paths now traveling through your building. More of an important question that I have at the moment is about your red blocks. I see that they are very similar to the blocks of your last posting with the simple spiral circulation. Now that you have a much more radically circulation structure, how does it change the way you think about the design of these elements? How do they meet the circulation piece?
